A Blog I Like
Here is another blog I like reading. I became a fan the day I stumbled upon this blog. The author gives advice on the latest fashion trends and gives alternatives in buying clothing that mimics the overly priced name brand clothing. She answers fashion questions and posts photos on celebrities and tells you how and where to get that same look.

In The Medsbee Spotlight
Looking through ETSY I found this wonderful crafts woman. All of her designs are fashion forward and just plain adorable. You really have so much talent! <3
Social Networks
There are quite a few social networks out there and I have to admit that I have probably signed up for a handful of them but as the days go by, I find myself more and more less interested with updating the work with my personal agenda (with the exception of twitter and blogspot of course). My personal myspace and facebook page has not been updated in a couple of months... When back in the day I've updated them both constantly while browsing through friends and strangers profiles. Heck, I hardly even update my shutterfly, let alone this blogspot. I look back reminising of the younger days to see what I've signed up for. The laundry list begins with: flickr, myphotoalbums, myspace, facebook, twitter, xanga, tumblr, blogspot, friendster, kodak, hotmail, yahoo, gmail, photobucket and doesn't even end there... but of course my memory does. Oh how I wish I still remembered my logins and passwords so I can cancel them all. A while back I began to search my name using a search engine and worked on canceling the accounts made, but I can only do that with the sites that show up.
With the trend of popular websites, it looks as if everyone is so much interested with what everyone is doing. Shoots, I even get a kick out of it and have been sucked in like a sucker. A chance to follow Nicole Richie and the Olsen Twins on Twitter! Sign me up. Oh how I envy them. I love their style. It's like it's the easiest way to see how people live their lives without actually being in their presence since for most fans... It's impossible to be in their idols presence. But at the same time, it freaks people out. It's so easy nowadays to track people down. Scary and flattering at the same time. I embrace it though. It's nice to have fans. Its nice to know that people think what ur doing is appreciated, cool, and loved.

For me I hope when that time comes, when my future plans are fully excecuted the way I want it to. Everything will fall into place. As of right now, I'm getting rid of things and promoting. My designs and reconstructions are coming soon. I just need to be patient and do you. My vision is simplicity, vintage, modern looks. So please, stay posted.

What I Wore Today
I enjoy Thrift Store shopping a lot... especially when you come out purchasing great one of a kind items. Over the weekend I did a bit of damage in a new store that I didn't even know existed. Look what I found on my trip there.

I decided to go very simple with this outfit. I found these pieces and a big handful of other ones that I will be posting soon, hopefully. I also found a few dresses with cute vintage prints that I want to reconstruct so that it will have a better fit and a more modern cut. I just need to find the time to do that.

Lucky Magazine
I found this awesome photo browsing online and I thought the things shown here fully encompasses what is vintage... from the wallpaper to the gold tunic that's hanging on the mannequin. Now, if only I could keep my closet looking this neat and clean. Read this quick write up from lucky magazine:
"Satine
This intimate West Hollywood stalwart specializes in feminine labels with an edge.
by Laurel Pinson
While its striped awning, floral wallpaper, and vintage furniture evoke a refined-and-ladylike drawing room, Satine is one of the best places in Los Angeles to find emerging designers and cool, trendsetting silhouettes. "Our aesthetic is girly but with a twist," explains owner Jeannie Lee. "We try to find designers who have an inspired, intelligent point of view." The racks feature a diverse mix, from polished Mayle dresses and structured separates by Thakoon to boyish sweaters by 3.1 Phillip Lim, all brilliant examples of the store's laid-back, quintessentially West Coast approach to style. 8117 W. Third St., 323-655-2142, satineboutique.com"
If you go to this link (http://www.luckymag.com/sites/siteswelove/boutique/satine) it will show you all of the boutique picks from the past, present, and I bet of the future too.
